You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, in under a minute. You do not need to email anyone and there is no waiting period.
There is no cooling-off period and no undo. Once it is done, it is done.
Deleting your account removes your member record and everything attached to it. In practice that means:
This is not a soft delete or a flag on a row. The account is removed, and every record that hangs off it is removed with it by the database itself.
Anything the app stored only on your own phone — such as the pick-up area you saved for the ride-home shortcut, which never left your device — goes when you delete the app.
STARR is a nightclub, not only an app. Its accounting records of what was spent and paid on a given night, and its own records of entry, exist independently of your app account and are not part of what the app deletes. They are the club's records of its own trading, kept separately from your membership.
If someone else booked a table and you were on it, their booking is theirs and stays with them. Your seat on it goes with your account.
If the app crashed while you were using it, a diagnostic report may have been sent to our crash-reporting provider. Those reports carry no name, email, member number or any other detail that identifies you — see the Privacy Policy — so there is nothing in them to find and delete.
There are exactly three situations where the app will stop and tell you why. Each one exists so that a member cannot disappear in the middle of a night and leave a table or a bill that no longer adds up.
A cancelled booking does not block anything, and neither does a booking for a night that has already passed. "Tonight" means the club's night rather than the calendar day — a night that runs past midnight counts as the same night until 6 AM.
If none of the three applies to you, deletion simply works.
Deleting from inside the app is the fastest route, but it needs you to sign in. If you have lost access to the email address on your membership, or the app is not working for you, write to us and we will delete the account for you.
Email: support@starrofficial.com
Send your request from the email address on your membership if you still can. If you cannot, tell us your name and your member number, or the phone number on your account, and roughly when you last visited the club — we need enough to be sure we are deleting the right person's account and not somebody else's. We may come back to you with one more question before we do it.
We will not ask you for a password, a card number, or a copy of your ID by email.
Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account. Your membership, points and bookings stay as they are until you delete the account itself, either in the app or by writing to us.
